This is a story told by the famous spiritual story teller Deepak Chopra. This is a story about the life of Buddha, it takes place in Ancient asia and century’s before Christ. It is a story about a boy named Siddhartha who was hidden from pain, suffering, sickness, age and despair all through his childhood from his father because it was prophesized that he would not become a king like his father, that he would become a monk. So they told Siddhartha’s father that if they can keep him from all the negative and suffering of the world for 32 years that he would become a king. Therefore, his father made him a pleasure palace Buddha was never allowed to leave until one day Siddhartha fell in love with one of the pleasure palace girls; when she disapeared Siddhathra left the palace with his friend and when he left for the first time he saw plague, age, and death. He then looked at an old women and noticed all her wrinkles and asked his friend Ganna does this happen to everyone, he said yes, then the young prince asked will this happen to me, and Ganna replied agian saying yes. Once seeing all of this Siddhartha leaves the kingdom and embarks on his journey of enlightenment.

 I did like this book because its like the full story and journeys of Buddha.
